Red Dot is a family run firm of Chartered Accountants who specialise in dealing with all Tax, Accounting, VAT and Payroll matters for owner managed businesses. The firm has two offices to conveniently service the accounting requirements of businesses in the Blackpool and Preston areas.
Our Firm was started in March 2013 by Peter Neill – a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience in working with business owners. Peter’s wealth of knowledge and experience has seen him deal with pretty much every conceivable issue faced by business owners today. He will offer true value to your business and not just make sure the ‘legal stuff’ is taken care of.
As a client, you will benefit from our experience and gain access to our extensive network of trusted professionals – giving you cost effective access to services you would normally only associate with larger accountancy practices. If we don’t have the answer, we certainly know someone who will.
Before setting up Red Dot, Peter was a partner in a large provincial accountancy practice based on the Fylde Coast for almost 20 years. Prior to that he was a Partner in an accountancy practice with offices in Bolton, Wigan and Southport, which followed his initial training, qualification, and subsequently being made a Partner at a large Preston based accountancy Firm.
Red Dot is definitely a family affair, with Peter’s wife Andrea also joining the team, to help with the administration of the practice and completing bookkeeping work for clients. The family connection may increase in future years as their son Matt has recently been taken on as a trainee by a large national accountancy practice based in Manchester city centre.
Peter and Andrea also have a daughter Sarah who works as a supervisor for a large local business.
Outside of work, football plays a large part in the lives of the family – whether watching on television, or following their team (contact us to find out who!) at home or away games, or standing on the touchline watching Matt play for his local team.
The family feel is evident in how Peter works with clients and has been quoted in saying “They’re my extended family, each with their own challenges, each with their foibles, but each a pleasure to work with.”
If this sounds like the type of accountancy firm that you would like to deal with then contact us now.
To help you decide if we could be the right type of accountant for you, why not read about how we differ from some other accountants.
Have you got a copy of our book?
Yes, that’s right, Peter Neill has co-authored a book entitled “Why Businesses Stop Growing and what you can do about it”. For anyone who is running a business it is a must read – including a unique insight into the factors that contribute to the slowing down of growth; a time-tested and proven blueprint to rapidly grow your business; and proven ways to financially manage the growth of your business, with particular attention to cash flow and profitability.
If after an initial meeting with Peter you want to find out more, ask him nicely and he’ll let you have a FREE copy!!!
Is it time to change your accountant?
By now you should be getting an idea how we work at Red Dot.
If you are still unsure if we are the right accountants for you, then why don’t you get in touch… we don’t bite!
As we do not want to waste your time, we will Initially speak over the phone to get a ‘feel for each other’ to see if we sound like we could work well together.
Assuming we both feel comfortable, we can then arrange to meet up for an informal chat over a cup of tea or coffee.
Our conversation and meeting will be totally FREE, confidential, and without any further obligation.
We are confident that you will get some benefit from our meeting irrespective of whether you appoint us or not.
As a minimum we expect you to get an independent view on your business performance and tax affairs, with suggestions on how you could improve these, plus as a special gift we will give you a free copy of our book.
